Simple Weapons

The following weapons are all available in the world of Dark Sun as described in the PFSRD. Club; Dagger; Great Club, Hook Hand; Short Spear; Wooden Stake; Longspear; Crossbow; Sling; Javelin; and Dart. The remaining weapons unique to Athas are detailed below

Puchik (Light) – Cost 4 Cp; Dmg (S) 1d3; Dmg (M) 1d4; Crit x3; Weight 1lb; Piercing – A bone or obsidian punching dagger.

Quabone (One-Handed) – Cost 3 Cp; Dmg (S) 1d4; Dmg (M) 1d6; Crit x2; Weight 4lb; Piercing, non-lethal – Four jawbones are fastened around a central haft, at right angles to one another. The quabone is often used in the arenas. The wounds it inflicts are non‐lethal, yet have entertainment value, as the quabone tends to open up many small cuts that bleed freely—for a brief time.

Tonfa (One-Handed) – Cost 5 Cp; Dmg (S) 1d3; Dmg (M) 1d4; Crit x2; Weight 2lb; Bludgeoning – The tonfa is a stick with a short handle, and is popular among street‐patrolling Nibenese templars and their guards. You can deal nonlethal damage with a tonfa without taking the usual –4 penalty.

Great Tonfa (Two-Handed) – Cost 10 Cp; Dmg (S) 1d4; Dmg (M) 1d6; Crit x2; Weight 5lb; Bludgeoning – The tonfa is a stick with a short handle, and is popular among street‐patrolling Nibenese templars and their guards. You can deal nonlethal damage with a tonfa without taking the usual –4 penalty.

Blowgun – Cost 5 Cp; Dmg (S) 1; Dmg (M) 1; Crit x2; Range 10ft; Weight 4lb; Piercing – The blowgun is a long tube through which you blow air to fire needles. The needles don’t deal much damage, but are often coated in poison.

Pelota – Cost 2 Cp; Dmg (S) 1d3; Dmg (M) 1d4; Crit x2; Range 10ft; Weight 1lb; Bludeoning/Piercing – Popular in arena games and increasingly popular in the street games of some city‐states, pelota are hollow leaden spheres with small holes that cause the sphere to whistle as it flies through the air. The surface of most pelota is studded with obsidian shards. You can use the dejada throwing glove to cast pelota at much higher speed and with greater accuracy, dealing more damage than a pelota thrown by hand.
